Hope's Park and Playground Brick Program

HOPE IS DEFINED AS A FEELING THAT WHAT ONE DESIRES WILL HAPPEN- EXPECTATION, ANTICIPATION, OPTIMISM

Hope’s Park and Playground is being planned for a small lot just one-half block south of the Faulkton Medical Center. Developed from a vision and generous seed donation from a 25-year cancer survivor who wanted to give back and a land donation by FAMC perfectly suited for this park, it will soon be a reality. Having several families with young children, grandparents, daycares and a new housing development within blocks as well as the families and visitors of the patients at the FAMC who wait while their loved ones receive their cancer treatments, Hope’s Park and Playground should prove to be a welcome addition for the entire community to enjoy.

Engraved bricks and levels of support will be permanently displayed at the park and playground. Bricks may be purchased for a donation of $100 or more and can be in honor or memory of loved ones regardless of the circumstances; it does not have to be only those who have dealt with cancer. You could also have your name or business engraved on a brick to proudly show your support.
