The Extra Mile Legacy Walk on the grounds of the historic Ben and Jane Collins building, 1915 Olive Street, Texarkana, Texas, now the home of HandsOn Texarkana, the Volunteer Center, allows you to create a lasting legacy.
Pave the way to honoring people who have gone the Extra Mile through volunteerism, or memorialize your loved ones. Names will be prominently displayed on brick pavers for years to come in front of the building on Olive Street. At the same time you will be helping preserve a historic treasure for community use to host weddings and other special events. Built in 1929 by Ben Collins, who had the vision to provide the first assisted living to ladies in our area, this beautiful mediterranean venue sits on 3 1/2 acres of manicured lawns.
All proceeds support the programs provided by HandsOn: Youth Volunteer Organization, Skilled Parenting for at-risk adults, Senior Transportation and COVID response, Resource Directory and Disaster Preparedness.
Bricks are laser engraved and have a lifetime guarantee from the manufacturer.
